Elinchrom D-Lite RX comes in two models

D-Lite RX is available in two versions with different power. Choose D-Lite RX One (6-100 Ws) for portrait, family groups, and simpler product photography. For larger group and environment shoots, the D-Lite RX 4 (25-400 Ws) is the right choice.

The magazine DigitalFoto presented a test of studio flashes. Elinchrom D-Lite RX shines and receives the finest awards "Best in Test", "Gold Award" and the prestigious "Editor's Choice".

Wireless control from camera, computer, and smartphone

All D-Lite RX models have built-in Skyport RX, wireless triggering and control of flash functions. During shooting, the Skyport Transmitter Plus is attached to the camera's accessory shoe and the flash can be triggered and output adjusted remotely up to 60 m (outdoors up to 120 m). The advanced remote control Transmitter Pro has a built-in display showing the D-Lite RX with set power, making remote control very simple. Communication between the flash and Transmitter Pro is two-way, meaning the correct value is always shown on the transmitter's display even if the power has been changed directly on the flash. High Sync is also possible on many cameras with the combination of D-Lite RX 4 - Transmitter Pro. Of course, communication is two-way, so the transmitter's display updates automatically if the power has been changed directly on the flash.
When complemented with Elinchrom, you open the possibility to control all flash functions from computer and iOS smartphone, further simplifying workflow so you can fully concentrate on photography and lighting.

To ensure Elinchrom flashes always have the latest features, they include a built-in update function for future software updates.

Sync D-Lite RX with camera flash thanks to Eye-Cell

A very smart feature of the D-Lite RX is the intelligent slave function Eye-Cell that can "read" the camera flash so that the D-Lite RX triggers correctly. Without Eye-Cell, the studio flash would already have fired before exposure because it was fooled by the pre-flashes from the camera flash.

Many personal customization options

Many functions on the D-Lite RX can be adjusted according to personal preferences. For example, power adjustment can be done in 1/10, 1/2 or full steps. If you have multiple flashes, the sound signal for ready flash can be changed so you can easily hear when all flashes are ready between shots. The modeling light, equivalent to 150W, can be set in proportional mode with flash light, or max/min or off.

Fast recycling and accurate exposure

D-Lite RX 4 recycles in 0.35 - 1.2 seconds depending on set power and is very stable from flash to flash, providing even exposure and color temperature over long shooting sessions.

Built-in thermostat-controlled fan

D-Lite RX can be used during long photo days thanks to a built-in microprocessor-controlled fan that works as needed.

One of the market's widest accessory programs

Elinchrom has used the same accessory mount for over 30 years, and D-Lite RX is no exception. The range of reflectors and Rotalux softboxes is the widest on the market.
