Photographer AB Sesay shows how you can create dramatic fitness images with three light sources. For this shoot, Ab uses the Sekonic L-308X light meter to individually measure the light from each flash and gain full control over light and contrast across the entire subject.
To be in full control of all light sources, Ab Sesay uses the L308X from Sekonic. A compact light meter that measures both flash light and existing light. To wirelessly trigger the Elinchrom ELC 500, he has set the L308X in a mode where the light meter measures flash light without a sync cord connected to the meter. Instead, Ab has an Elinchrom Transmitter Pro in his hand which allows him to trigger the different flash groups individually.
