The Nanlite FC-500B is an AC-powered, bi-color LED spotlight that provides an immense amount of light in a compact, lightweight, and stylish package. You can quickly fine-tune the dimming from 0 to 100% in 0.1% increments, and with the twist of a knob achieve a wide range of looks, from warm indoor tones to bright daylight with its CCT range of 2700K-6500K. The high SSI rating of 84 (3200K) and 74 (5600K), CRI rating of 96 and TLCI of 98 means your skin tones and other colors will always be accurate. It runs continuously on AC with the included power supply, and can run on battery with the separately available FC PowerController. It has easy-to-use onboard controls, Bluetooth for the free NANLINK app for iOS and Android, and 2.4G for more wireless control options. A locking, metal 3.5mm port even lets you control with DMX/RDM.

The head of the FC-500B and the power supply are separate, so each can be as lightweight as possible. The power supply has a safety strap to hang it on a light stand, and a quick-release plate is provided for more mounting options (clamp sold separately, SKU# ASCPQRFZ). Travel ready
A crushproof, shockproof, corrosion-resistant, and form-fitting carrying case is included, so you can safely travel and store when not in use. The FC-500B is AC-powered but you can also shoot on location using V-Mount batteries with the FC PowerController (batteries and FC PowerController sold separately).
Workflow improvements
With a 2-inch screen and easy-to-master controls, the FC-500B helps you achieve professional-looking results quickly. Pressing the right knob jumps to popular color temperatures or hues, and pressing the left knob instantly dims to 0.0% and pressing again brings you back to your previous brightness setting. Bluetooth lets you take command with your phone or tablet.
Advanced details
Rapidly adjust the angle of the beam with its 360° rotating yoke and single-sided, stepless lock. Smart fan modes give you total control over on-set sound. It has 15 built-in effects and you can make your own and save them as presets in the app. A USB port allows future firmware updates so new features can be added, and can power external DMX receivers (sold separately).
Quality throughout
Like all Nanlite products, the FC-500B is built to high standards and it's the little details, like the glass-protected light source, that make a big difference in long-term reliability. The built-in 2.4G lets you use the WS-RC-C2 Handheld Remote when you'd rather not use your phone to control, and the WS-TB-1 Transmitter Box lets you control larger setups (both sold separately).
