Novoflex Geared Tripod Head, KOPF2-PRO. The KOPF2 is a compact, highly precise three-way geared head, allowing for independent adjustment of all three axes. Developed for demanding photographic areas such as architecture, studio, macro, repro, and astrophotography, this innovative head provides independent adjustments in both axes (basic version). With the ability for precise tilting up and down as well as lateral tilting, the KOPF2 offers unparalleled flexibility.
Easy and smooth control
Easily control coarse movements around the horizontal and vertical axes (tilting) using the side clamping levers, while finer adjustments can be made with the adjustment screw. The self-locking fine drive prevents unintended falls or descents of heavy camera constructions when the side clamping lever for coarse adjustment is closed. Enabling particularly small, precise angular movements is achievable by enlarging the diameter of the fine adjustment screw using the optionally available CAST-FINE-K fine adjustment handle.
Precision
The joints of the horizontal and vertical axes feature adjustable and zeroable angle scales for reproducible angular positions. Integrated bubble levels allow for precise adjustment of these angles to 0°, facilitating targeted navigation to specific positions or setting defined angular intervals. The upper and lower device mounting brackets are equipped with an ARCA-compatible dovetail profile, a 3/8"-16 thread with a 1/4"-20 adapter, a 1/4"-20 mounting screw, video pin holes for secure mounting, and recesses for safety pins. The ARCA-compatible dovetail profile also allows direct insertion of the head into a corresponding quick-release system or a panorama panning base with an integrated coupling.
Nofolex KOPF-PRO
In the offered Pro version, the KOPF² comes pre-equipped with a factory-mounted Q=MOUNT quick-release clamp on the upper leg and a PANORAMA=QII panorama base mounted on the lower leg. The Q=MOUNT quick-release clamp facilitates rapid locking of plates through a double-threaded mechanism, eliminating the need for lengthy screwing – a small part of a turn is sufficient. The safety pin, in conjunction with NOVOFLEX Q=PLATE series quick-release plates, prevents plates from slipping out in both directions. The PANORAMA=QII panorama base features a 360° scale with 5° subdivisions. A secure locking screw allows precise fixation of the geared head in any desired position. Additionally, it incorporates a ball bearing for smooth and play-free movement. The underside features a 3/8" thread with a 1/4" insert adapter.
The KOPF² can be configured for use by both left and right-handed individuals.
