HEDLER MaxiSoft L 110 x 45 cm. Special shaped softbox - well-known as a strip light. Because of it´s shape it delivers two different lighting characteristics: along it´s longitudinal axis relatively soft, along it´s cross axis more harder than it´s longitudinal axis. If the inner diffuser is used, the lighting characteristic softens even more, with the inner diffuser removed it gets a bit harder and more brilliant. Hedler MaxiSoft L 110 x 45 cm will be delivered with an additional front diffuser with an opening of 110 x 25 cm. Attached instead of the one with the wider opening it lights a smaller area - ideal for the edges of objects!

HEDLER MaxiSoft 30 x 30 cm. Designed if you have to work in a (very) small studio or on location the HEDLER MaxiSoft 30 x 30 cm produces a light that accentuates structures but is still soft and flowing. Clearly defined shadows, not too wide shadow-edge-transfer and perfect controllable reflections (because of the free rotation of the softbox) are the main advantages of this light modifier.

It can be used with nearly all the latest Hedler light units at maximum 300 Watts continuous light output power.

Without limitations it can be used with the HEDLER FlashEule (you know the smart adapter for appropriate small compact flash heads?) and with the Hedler F-light units.

Give it a try for portrait photographs and for shooting stills, it clearly can produce a unique lighting characteristic, mainly if it is used from a short distance.

This softbox generates an extra soft light of great clearness and brilliance.Used from a short distance it delivers accentuated shadows without being to hard. Set-up from a more medium distance it helps to produce striking portrait with a great clear look. Because of it´s shadow characteristic it is relatively easy to produce even low keys without any problem.

Tip: it may help to use a greater opening angle between cam and MaxiSoft Octagon to achieve the wanted low key effect.
