The Go Vu features two versatile ways to mount a monitor:

If you plan to mount an Apple iMac and/or a Cinema Display, a special adapter plate (available at Apple.com) is required.

The TetherGear VESA Monitor Mount is the ideal connecting solution for image makers and content creators, providing compatibility with the industry standard 75 mm x 75 mm and 100 mm x 100 mm VESA configuration and can support a screen weighing up to 30 kg, it provides a secure attachment ideal for external video monitors, PC monitors and television screens.

Once securely fastened to the monitor of choice the mount can be attached to any suitable support such as a lighting stand, friction arm or wall plate via the 16 mm (5/8”) female socket and secured with the T-knob in either landscape or portrait orientation. Vertical tilt can be adjusted using the high torque ratchet handle allowing the user to make minor adjustments as required safely and securely.

The VESA Mount features multiple accessory mounting points incorporated in the design such as a 3/8” threaded hole with Manfrotto and ARRI style anti-rotation lugs, a secondary 3/8” threaded hole for further accessories and an additional 16 mm (5/8”) female socket, allowing use with essential accessories such as friction arms and small lighting support accessories for mounting wireless receivers, flash or LED lighting, audio devices or compact camera set ups.

The Studio Vu monitor bracket enhances photographers and videographers capabilities by providing a streamlined way to mount large monitors, iMacs or Cinema Displays to studio stands utilizing the standard 5/8"(16mm) Baby Junior pin found on common studio support equipment allowing for easy integration into any set-up. The Studio Vu's easy and portable set-up is engineered for in-studio or location tethered image or video display as well as educational forums, tradeshow visual displays and weddings/events where video and slideshow playback is needed. Ideal for still photography, LiveView or HD video or slideshow playback.

The Studio Vu mounts directly on any 5/8” (16mm) Baby Junior pin so it's easy to use with any existing roller stand, c-stand, arm or clamp.  Use a roller stand to reposition monitors as shooting angles and conditions change.  The Studio Vu features dual 5/8” receptors for easy rotation of the monitor from landscape to portrait depending on current needs.

The top of the Studio Vu also features two accessory mount receptors. Both 5/8” stud receptors have openings on the bottom to fit most all 5/8” Baby and Junior Stud arms and accessories. Use these receptors to mount lights, cameras and other gear, using Tether Tools Master Articulating Arm or Master Flex Arm.

Easily connect any VESA compliant 75x75 or 100x100 monitor directly to the Studio Vu.  For larger monitors, specialized VESA Vu 200x200, 200x400, and Universal adapter plates (sold separately) have been created to meet just about any monitor's specifications.  If you plan to mount an Apple iMac and/or a Cinema Display a special adapter plate is required.

Tether Tools Dual Monitor Mount, Rock Solid VESA. Sometimes one monitor isn’t enough. If you need to mount two monitors on set, the Rock Solid VESA Dual Monitor Mount is the perfect solution for you. Combine with the Rock Solid VESA Studio Monitor Mount for Stands (not included) or the Rock Solid VESA Local Monitor Mount for Stands and Tripods (not included) to mount to C-Stands or tripods. This adapter bracket is designed to connect to a VESA single monitor mount like the Rock Solid VESA Studio Monitor Mount for Stands (not included) or the Rock Solid VESA Local Monitor Mount for Stands and Tripods (not included). This will allow you to mount two screens side by side.

The monitors are mounted on a curved rail which can be moved side to side without any tools and can be tilted 45 degrees each direction to create proper ergonomic viewing angles. The Monitor Mount can also be mounted vertically for a stacked orientation. Open top slots at the top of the mounting bracket make attaching your monitors incredibly easy. Included on each side of the mount are cable clips to keep cords organized and protected. This curved mount is simple to assemble and comes with all the necessary mounting hardware.

Will this fit my monitor?

To determine what size VESA mounting hole pattern you have, you will need to check your monitor/TV user guide or online specs for the Wall Mount VESA Specs. All our mounts feature both a 75x75mm and a 100x100mm hole configuration. If your monitor/TV requires a larger hole pattern, you will need a Rock Solid VESA Adapter Plate.

To Mount to a c-stand, you will also need:

The Vu Monitor Mounts, alone, incorporate 75x75 & 100x100 VESA patterns. Rock Solid VESA Adapter Plate Extensions will accommodates larger monitors, up to 80lbs (36kg), that extend beyond the 200x200mm and 400x200 VESA patterns. For example, if a 400x400 pattern is needed, use the Universal VESA Vu adapter in conjunction with the 200x200 VESA Vu.
