When I’m on location for client assignments, time is often limited. My equipment needs to be quick, intuitive, and reliable so that I can focus entirely on my interview subject.

The Elinchrom LED 100 C is the perfect solution for me. It’s compact, easy to fit in my camera bag, and incredibly simple to set up. With dedicated dials for brightness and color temperature, I can adjust the lighting instantly, while the clear display provides precise control over my settings.

Perfect color balance straight out of the camera

When shooting on location, I match my camera’s Kelvin value to the ambient light and then set the same value on the LED 100 C. The result? Natural skin tones and accurate colors straight out of the camera—no need for extensive post-processing.

Flexible light shaping for perfect results

Another major advantage is the flexibility to use any light modifier I prefer, allowing me to shape the light exactly as I need. Today, I used a diffused umbrella to achieve a soft, natural look.

Reliable battery life for uninterrupted work

Battery performance also exceeded my expectations. I completed two full interviews without external power, and only half of the internal battery was used. This gives me the freedom to work efficiently without worrying about extra cables or power sources.
