Fast recycling keeps up with your shoot

The ELC Pro HD 1000 recycles in as little as 1.2 seconds at full power and 0.054 seconds at minimum power.

That means less waiting between exposures and more freedom to follow the pace of your subject. For portraits, fashion and movement in particular, fast recycling makes it easier to capture the right moment.

Short flash duration for sharp images of movement

When photographing movement in the studio, flash duration plays an important role in how effectively you can freeze the subject.

The ELC Pro HD 1000 achieves a flash duration as short as 1/5260 second at 80 Ws. This gives you the tools to capture sharp images of dance, fashion, action and other fast-moving subjects.

8-stop power range for greater control

The ELC Pro HD 1000 combines high maximum power with a wide power range. You can move from powerful lighting setups to much lower output levels without changing flash units.

Work at lower power when you want to use a wider aperture and shallow depth of field, or use the higher output with large light modifiers or when lighting a bigger area. Power can be adjusted precisely in 1/10-stop increments.

Consistent light throughout long shoots

Fast recycling and high power need to be matched by stability. The ELC Pro HD 1000 is designed to maintain consistent exposure and colour temperature, even during long sessions and fast-paced shooting.

This helps deliver more uniform results from one frame to the next during product photography, portrait series and commercial productions.

Clear, fast controls

The ELC Pro HD 1000 is designed to make advanced functions straightforward to use. The display presents settings and values clearly, while direct controls let you adjust the flash quickly during a shoot.

You can save four personal presets, making it easy to return to frequently used lighting setups or switch between different shooting situations.

200 W modelling light

The 200 W modelling light helps you assess the direction, shadows and character of the light before taking a photograph. It can be set proportionally to flash power, adjusted independently or switched off.

The VFC function can also use the modelling light to indicate when the flash has fully recycled.

Please note: Use only modelling lamp EL-23034 with the ELC Pro HD. Similar lamps may have specifications that are unsuitable for the ELC Pro HD.

Multivoltage for work in different locations

The ELC Pro HD automatically adapts to an input voltage between 90 and 265 V. This makes it useful for photographers working internationally or moving their equipment between studios and locations.

Wireless control with Elinchrom Skyport

The ELC Pro HD has built-in Elinchrom Skyport. With the included Skyport Transmitter Plus, you can trigger the flash units and adjust their power wirelessly from the camera.

The system has a range of approximately 60 metres indoors and up to approximately 200 metres outdoors, giving you room to work in larger studios and on more extensive shoots.

You can also add a Skyport Plus HS for extended control.

Control your flash units from a computer or iOS device

With Elinchrom Bridge, compatible ELC Pro HD units can be controlled from a computer or iOS device. Elinchrom Studio and the Elinchrom App let you monitor and adjust flash functions from one place.

This is especially useful for larger lighting setups where several flash units need adjusting during a shoot.

Eye-Cell for working with other flash units

The intelligent Eye-Cell optical slave can detect a camera flash sequence and adjust its triggering accordingly. This lets you use the ELC Pro HD alongside speedlights and other flash systems when a shoot calls for different light sources.

Creative functions for advanced lighting setups

The ELC Pro HD offers several functions that give you more control over when and how the flash fires.

• Delay – adds an adjustable delay so you can determine when the flash fires during an exposure.
• Sequence – lets you combine up to 20 flash units for rapid image sequences. The units can fire in succession to distribute the workload between them.
• Strobo – fires multiple flashes during a single exposure, allowing you to capture several phases of movement in one image.

Efficient cooling for long sessions

The built-in microprocessor-controlled fan adjusts its speed to the flash unit’s workload. It provides effective cooling as the pace increases while keeping noise down when full cooling capacity is not needed.

The ELC Pro HD is designed for the long sessions and high shooting volumes that professional studio photography can involve.

An established range of light modifiers

The ELC Pro HD uses Elinchrom’s established accessory mount and can be combined with a wide range of reflectors, umbrellas and Rotalux softboxes.

Hi-Sync opens up the world of flash photography to explore even further

Elinchrom Hi-Sync technology lets you go beyond the X-Sync of your camera. Photographers can simply switch to Hi-Sync mode and access sync speeds up to 1/8000s to freeze motion, overpower the sun, darken backgrounds or use a wider aperture. The new ODS (Over Drive Sync) enables users to fine tune the Transmitter Pro transmitter’s trigger signal to optimize exposure at high shutter speeds while gaining up to 2 more f-stops of light.

The Transmitter Pro has 20 frequency channels that can be used for either Normal or Speed mode. The transmitter attaches easily and securely to the hotshoe with its one-touch quick-lock mechanism, and is powered by 2x AA batteries. It also features an integrated AF Illuminator for faster focusing and a mini-USB socket for firmware updates. Users can instantly distinguish what sync mode they are in as the backlit display glows green for normal sync mode, and red for speed sync mode. They can also enjoy a range of up to 656ft (200m) outdoors, and up to 196ft (60m) indoors.

The 16 anodised rods are heat-resistant, enabling work with high temperature light sources. They are made out of flexible aluminium so that they follow the parabolic shape of the Litemotiv. The colour coding of the bracket and rods enable trouble free assembly. These are studio softboxes but their construction make them simple to setup but also to disassemble.

The double diffusion panels have been specialy designed to produce very soft light. The innner diffuser also incorporates a central circular panel to avoid any hotspot, thus offering the most homogenous light possible. It is possible to remove both diffusers to obtain a very crispy and contrasty light, similar to beauty dish... but in much bigger!

The fabric of the Litemotiv softboxes is unique. It offers 30% more light output than our standard Rotalux fabric, also used for Portalite, while being just as lightweight. It also offers the same distinctive Elinchrom look than our other softboxes but this fabric is heat-resistant, meaning that 650W hot lamps can be used with Litemotiv.

Designed to carry the Litemotiv 120 cm and the incredible 190 cm, this bracket takes off all stress from the unit while providing easy positioning of the light.

Manfrotto Skylite Rapid Medium Kit 1.1 x 2 m. Professional diffusion system for film and photo production. Skylite Rapid Medium Kit 1.1x2 meters

Skylite Rapid Medium is a rectangular diffuser/reflector screen that works excellently when handheld or mounted on a stand. The surface is large enough to diffuse harsh sunlight in photo and film production, or as a reflector when you need to brighten the shadow side of the subject.

Diffuser 1.25 F-stops

The included diffuser reduces light flow by 1.25 f-stops, providing beautiful light with smooth transitions to shadows, similar to larger softboxes. Ideal for softening harsh sunlight or diffusing flash light.

Double-Sided Reflector Silver - White

The Skylite Rapid Medium Kit includes a reflector with one white side and one silver side, offering the ability to brighten the shadow side of the subject or illuminate a subject standing in the shade. The white side provides a soft reflection of sunlight or flash light, resulting in gentle shadow lifting. The silver side reflects light more intensely, perfect when a more subdued key light is needed.

Sturdy Aluminum Frame

The Skylite Rapid features a sturdy aluminum frame that is easily assembled thanks to an elastic cord that holds the different tube ends together (similar to tent poles). The frame is designed to withstand wind, making the Skylite Rapid suitable for use in most situations. Complement the frame with holders, such as the Manfrotto Griphead LA-8446, for mounting on a stand.

Fabric with Clips

The fabrics have sewn-in metal rods along the edges, equipped with several clips. The metal rods keep the fabric taut and flat regardless of the Skylite Rapid’s position. The clips make mounting and dismounting easier.
