Like all Elinchrom lighting tools, the geometry of the Rotalux softboxes is precisely matched to the focal length and light pattern of all Elinchrom lamp heads. These features, combined with double diffusion fabrics, create the exceptionally even light that Elinchrom softboxes are known for.
Thanks to the centrally positioned umbrella mount on Elinchrom, Rotalux softboxes can be combined with deflectors. The different materials in the deflector set create various light characteristics and can be used with diffusion fabrics or, for a harder light, in a softbox without diffusers.
