Description

EIZO ColorEdge CG2400S, a 24.1-inch monitor with WUXGA resolution (1920 × 1200) and HDR gamma, brings creative visions to life with stunning detail. With a built-in self-calibration sensor and USB-C connectivity, it provides a seamless workflow for professional creators across all fields. Whether your focus is photography, video editing, design, or print – elevate your creativity and make a lasting impact.

  • Compact design with a large display area
  • Reliable, precise color management
  • Optimized for photo and video editing
  • Stable and clear image display
  • Thoughtful design for comfort
  • High quality and long lifespan

Compact design, large display area

The CG2400S features a resolution of 1920 × 1200 with a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing more vertical workspace than Full HD – perfect for avoiding unnecessary scrolling. The 24.1-inch screen offers plenty of space for your content, even with tool panels open, allowing you to keep creating while seeing more of your image.

Easy USB-C connection

The monitor is equipped with USB-C connectivity, allowing you to display video, transfer USB signals, and simultaneously power a connected device, such as a tablet or laptop. This convenient and versatile connection makes it faster and easier to connect when moving between creative workspaces, working remotely, or creating in a home studio.

70 W power delivery via USB-C

The USB-C port reliably charges a connected tablet or laptop with 70 W power. This eliminates the need for a bulky laptop charger, freeing up space both in your bag and on your desk.

Wide color gamut to industry standards

The monitor features a wide color gamut, reproducing 98% of the DCI-P3 standard used in digital cinema, and supports the BT.2020 standard for broadcasting. It also covers 99% of the Adobe RGB color space, ensuring accurate display of images captured in Adobe RGB. Additionally, it covers nearly the entire ISO Coated v2 and US Web Coated CMYK color spaces used in printing.

Broadcast and cinema presets

The CG2400S offers preset modes for DCI-P3, BT.709, and BT.2020, allowing you to work in the correct color space and gamma. For HDR content, PQ (DCI and BT.2100) and HLG (BT.2100) modes are available. With the built-in calibration sensor, you can easily adjust or maintain brightness for each preset mode.

10-bit simultaneous display

The monitor provides 10-bit simultaneous display* from a 16-bit look-up table (LUT), meaning it can show over one billion colors at once. This is 64 times more colors than an 8-bit display, resulting in smoother color gradations and reduced Delta-E between adjacent colors.

3D LUT for accurate color reproduction

The monitor is equipped with a 3D LUT (look-up table) that adjusts colors in an RGB cubic format. Using ColorNavigator 7’s film emulation function, you can emulate film colors with a 3D LUT file.

Built-in sensor automates workflow

The monitor’s built-in sensor can be set to automatically calibrate the screen at designated times. This eliminates the need for external calibration devices and ensures the monitor always displays accurate colors. The sensor swings onto the screen, taking up minimal space, so you can continue working even during calibration.

ColorNavigator 7 – color management software

To maintain color accuracy, the monitor needs regular calibration. EIZO’s proprietary ColorNavigator 7 software provides an intuitive and highly precise color management solution. You can schedule automatic recalibration, calibrate all color modes simultaneously, and synchronize with external sensors to match the studio’s internal color management system. Calibration data is saved directly to the monitor, so recalibration is not required even when switching computers.

Video editing features

HDR gamma curves

For HDR content, the CG2400S supports gamma (EOTF) with hybrid log-gamma (HLG) for broadcasting and perceptual quantization (PQ) for film production and streaming content.

True black

In compliance with the DCI standard, the monitor offers a high contrast ratio of 1800:1*, enabling true blacks that are otherwise difficult to display on a typical LCD. CG Series monitors are also equipped with a retardation film that preserves tonal depth even when viewed from an angle.

Accurate preview of log footage

With ColorNavigator 7, you can upload a LUT or log profile directly to the monitor, allowing accurate previewing of footage with correct color and contrast. This ensures that what is seen on-site during shooting or in the studio during editing matches the intended output, helping professionals maintain visual consistency throughout production.

Sync Signal

The monitor’s Sync Signal function automatically switches color settings – brightness, gamma (EOTF), and color gamut – based on the input signal metadata. This eliminates the need for manual adjustments when working on multiple projects and ensures you are always using the correct settings.

Check PQ content at any brightness

The monitor offers an optional PQ gamma curve (EOTF), allowing the input signal to be clipped or compressed to fit the monitor’s luminance. This lets users simulate how the signal will appear on other displays. The Auto setting in the PQ menu adjusts the PQ curve automatically based on the monitor’s current brightness.

Luminance warning

The PQ option highlights areas of the image clipped at a specific brightness level, marked in yellow or magenta, making it easy to identify these areas.

Pixel inspection

Incorrect settings can affect editing decisions, lead to extensive rework, and cause costly production delays. With Pixel Inspection, accessed via the monitor’s OSD, you can view the color information of a pixel from the source signal and as displayed on the monitor.

System managers can use this information to verify that the creator’s technical settings match the project’s predefined color parameters. This is especially useful for remote work, when system managers cannot directly check settings. Ensuring creators work under the correct technical conditions reduces the risk of rework due to mismatched settings.
